Construction Agreement Signed-West branch of FIFS, Guizhou University

Universities in the less advantaged parts of China still concentrate appropriately on agriculture and primary food production, while those that have surged ahead in the economic boom are more interested in food processing and retailing- they have much to learn from each other. In order to commit on the scientific research on development of China featured resource and student training, enhance the social influence of FIFS and the benefit area of Foundation of FIFS, Fuli Institute is forming an academic alliance between Zhejiang University in Hangzhou in the East, Guizhou University in Guiyang, Guizhou Province in the West. There should also be concurrent and medium-term benefits in an enlarged and relevant work-force, because of the internship-style of education intrinsic to the partnering higher education.

 

13th March, 2014, Shuyi Qiu,the director of Brewing and Food Engineering College, Guizhou University, Mingzhu Wang, the office director visit FIFS , discussed the construction detail of Guizhou University Branch of Fuli Institute of Food Science and signed the Branch Construction Agreement.

    
Mr. Qiu introduced the faculty, student training and scientific research situation of Brewing and Food Engineering College, Guizhou University, thanks for the support of FIFS, Biological Engineering and Food Science College, Zhejiang University, and show the expectation of high-end Teaching faculty training, talent communication and project cooperation in the Guizhou Branch. Xingqian Ye, vice director of Biological Engineering and Food Science College introduced the teaching faculty, student training and scientific research in Biological Engineering and Food Science. Donghong Liu, Executive director of FIFS introduced the vision and mission of FIFS and concluded the works done since the establishment of FIFS. Tiejin Ying, Vice director of FIFS explained the objectives and implementation process of student training in FIFS.

Afterward, both parties had been clear about the teacher training, talent exchange and scientific research cooperation in the Guizhou branch. In the meantime, implementation of educational resource sharing conducted through synchronous teaching plot regarding
